5. How We Use Information
We use information we collect to:

We do not use personal information for automated decision-making or profiling for marketing purposes.
6. Custody and Operational Data
If you participate in investment functionality, certain information may be retained as part of custody, accounting, and audit records.
Such information may be retained even after access is revoked, to the extent reasonably necessary for:
- Security
- Dispute resolution
- Financial reconciliation
- Legal, securities, and regulatory compliance (including books-and-records obligations applicable to a private securities offering)
7. Financial Privacy (GLBA / Regulation S-P)
Because we collect nonpublic personal financial information in connection with a private securities offering, certain financial-privacy laws — including, where applicable, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and Regulation S-P — may apply to how we handle that information. We are reviewing the scope of these obligations with counsel. Regardless of their technical applicability, we:
- Collect financial and identity information only as needed to administer the offering and meet legal obligations;
- Do not sell such information and do not share it for third parties' own marketing;
- Share it only with service providers, professional advisors, and regulators as described in this Policy; and
- Apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect it (including encryption of sensitive documents).
8. Data Storage and Security
- Website infrastructure is hosted by Vercel
- Backend systems are hosted by Railway
- Databases and operational systems use industry-standard tooling, with encryption of sensitive financial and identity information
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable law.
9. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information:
- With service providers operating the Services
- With professional advisors (such as legal, accounting, and verification providers) and regulators, as needed to conduct and document the offering
- To comply with legal obligations or requests
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Belief Systems or others
- In connection with a business transfer, merger, or restructuring
10. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. International Users
The Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
12. Your Privacy Rights
12.1 European Economic Area (GDPR)
If you are located in the EEA, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data, subject to legal and operational limitations.
12.2 California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents may have the right to request disclosure or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable exceptions. Belief Systems does not sell personal information and does not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.
12.3 How to Make a Request
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@beliefsystems.xyz with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. Note that information we are required to retain for securities, anti–money-laundering, custody, or other legal and recordkeeping obligations may be exempt from deletion.
13. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (including securities books-and-records and anti–money-laundering obligations).
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by revising the “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
